Close-up Carina.. NGC3372

Adding to the list of images of Carina simply because she is stunning..

Took these on the Anzac Day long weekend down at Anglsea Victoria.
640x30 Sec Subs = just over 5 & a half hours of usable exposure.

Equipment, WIlliam Optics zenithstar 61, Zwo Asi294 Pro, Duo Narrowband Filter, Zwo 50m Guidescope, Zwo 120mm camera & Ioptron Skyguider Pro.. (very light set- up which is good for travel).

The Star detraction is a filter called Starspikes Pro 4 - it bolts on to Photoshop perfectly. I just got it and was mucking around with the effect.

Enjoy.

Wow Andrew, you certainly stacked a lot of subs, it must have taken a while to process.. The result turned out really well. Star spikes do make an astro shot more pleasing to the eye. Just one question, what caused those Pentagon shapes at the bottom right corner of the first one? I thought they may have been part of your Watermark.

Hey Michael

Lens flare filter I found online for Photoshop.

I liked the effect for some reason so threw it in.
Usually im pretty clear in terms of those things but was experimenting a little.
