NGC 5128 Centaurus A Galaxy from NexDome Obs

NGC 5128 Centaurus A Galaxy is my 3rd object imaged from my week away down south at my Obs

One more object to process …..

Conditions were a bit better this night than when I captured the other objects

Unfortunately my session ended early with some high cloud , I planned for 4 to 6 hours worth but only managed 2 hours

Still happy with the image with limited data

Hopefully I got the colour balance better this time around !

Same rig
10” f5 Klaus Helmerich Carbon fibre Newt
Skywatcher EQ8-R pro mount
ZWO2600MC

58 x 2 minute dithered subs
40 x Flats
60 x Bias

Astrobin link here …..

Attached are Synthetic Luminance and Colour versions ( 200kb ) both original frame size and cropped

Thanks for looking

Comments welcome

Very clean Cent A Martin. Nice colour and detail in the core and the surrounding glow shines nicely for a few hours data.
I tried this Anzac Day eve and found it a hard object to process. Then again you can only manage what you put in.

Well done mate.
Anthony.

Thanks Anthony,
One could only image what 10 or 20 hours on this object would reveal under dark skies , let alone just a measly 2 hours
Thanks for commenting
Cheers
