First light RC6

Hi all,

Posting first test image I did with recently purchased Astrotech RC6.

Manually focused - thankfully Eta was low in the sky as the focuser slipped very easily later in the imaging session as Eta rose. Stock focuser has just been replaced (waiting for new first light!)

60 mins data - RGB x20mins each - very happy with this first go...enough to invest a bit more in the scope.

Cheers for looking
Doug

Heya Doug

Great image !

I really enjoy my RC6.

Yep, the stock focuser can give some greif.

Care to share what camera and fiters you used ?

I'm about to try mono imaging myself.

Paul.

I can't vouch for the RC6 but the end result is another terrific image, Doug. In fact, it inspired me to have a crack at Eta Car too ... seems to be popular atm! Alex
