Wanted: IR Cutoff filter

Wanting to source an IR cutoff filter 1 1/4" and threaded to be used with a W47 filter and an SPC900 webcam to image Venus.

Anyone got one and not using it or know of where I can get one cheaply?

John.

when i bought my toucam i purchased an astrolan 1.25 ' adapter , which included a built in IR cutoff filter , from switzerland via ebay for about $60 .Filter specs attached. It was cheaper than buying them seperately!

Get an Edmund Scientific or Baader one. Just make sure it's not the blue tint cheapy.

Try telescopes-astronomy in SA.

Thanks.

I had a look that. I think the problem is that this filter also cuts the UV as well.

To image Venus you want to cut just the IR but let the UV pass through, thus the W47 and IR block combo.
