18th Jan Sunspots - lucky!

18th Jan. Heavy cloud all day until a small patch of blue at 3.20 pm in the afternoon, allowed me to get a quick single exposure with Canon 550d at 540 nm.
Lots of spots still visible - with a few new ones. AR 3190 is still prominent and large. I could not see AR3194.
I have included an image at Halpha wavelength taken yesterday in a poor sky of the eastern sector showing the large sunspot.

Wow, don't know how you managed that John. It has literally rained all day here. Well done and great to see the continuing changes.
