Skywatcher 120 Achromat -focus knob removal?

I'm trying to add a focuser motor to a SW 120 which has a rack and pinion focuser and knobbly knobs (!)
I can't seem to find any way of removing the knobs from the shaft.
No small hidden screws and they don't seem to want to unthread from the shaft.
Any ideas?
Has anyone had success on a similar focuser?????
Thanks.

Hi Ken - I have the 120 and did remove one focus knob easily. Have a look at this video and it will show you how to remove. Hope this helps.

Ken , Its quite easy, just turn the knobs in opposite directions , they are threaded onto the shaft. I done this on my 120mm Achromat.

Tony,
The rack and pinion focusers on the current 120/ 1000 are different.
