Refried chook

HNY. Another ‘sharing for fun’ only. I decided to reprocess the ~80 mins of Running Chicken Nebula (OSC) data I collected in May, using my newfound ham-fisted PI 'skills'. The end result is certainly different and less subtle than my first attempt using APP and PS, and I still have trouble seeing the chook! I'll be getting some NB data using my 8" SCT since there's soooo much detail in this nebula and the long facial length will get me in close. Alex

A very colourful fried chook. I would be happy with that tasty morsel.

Mate you're really getting the hang of PI
I think that's a typo, it's actually run over chicken. Now you can see it right?

I have just now taken delivery of two bar be que chooks so this is a moving moment...nice image..on a side note but hardley off topic...my daughter changed my ring tone for me to some of her chooks making a fuss...so I got caught out when the phone went off this morning with a surprise that her chooks were somehow outside...

I really good image there.

Thanks for the feedback … nothing like a bit of chook whether it’s flattened or BBQ!

After spending ages struggling to see the chicken in the nebula, I can now see (from top to bottom) a chicken, a duck and an egret/ibis in that image...
