I posted a zoom in on
just the Trapezium, using just the very short exposures, a week or so ago but I have since gathered some longer sub exposure data to complete the second colour image from Eagleview Observatory, a full dynamic range image of the central regions of the Great Nebula in Orion
The seeing for the very short exposures was excellent (FWHM 1.4"-1.7") while for the longer exposures it was not quite as good but still not too bad (FWHM 1.6"-2.0") I used no deconvolution for this image and went easy on the contrast, which can flatten the 3D depth of an image, in an attempt to keep the detail and nebulosity looking as natural as possible
