Venus, 14 May

Seeing not too bad in late twilight for a change, so had a go at Venus while it was still reasonably high. Imaged with NexImage through 114x900 reflector with GSO 2x Barlow. 5 x 5-sec AVIs @ 24 fps processed in Registax V3, cropped & re-sized in Photoshop CS2.

Nice shot of Venus, I have a soft spot for this planet because it was the first planet I saw through a telescope I received as a 10 year old.
Alway great to see images of this old friend.
