Sunspots on 24th Nov

24th Nov (1.00 UT).

A reasonable day today with clouds and blue patches of sky. The attached image shows the sunspots visible today - a new group AR3152 is coming into view on the NE limb. You can compare this image with my image taken 2 days ago (22nd Nov) to see changes. Single exposure with Canon 550d camera, 81 mm refractor, herschel wedge at 540 nm.
Thanks for viewing - John W.

I do like the way these are so well defined. Nicely done.

Very nice image, keep them coming John. Yesterday the BOM said that it was partly cloudy. This kind of implies that it could also be partly sunny which was definitely not the case. We wonder what the difference between fully cloudy and partly cloudy actually is.
