16th Nov. Sunspots going ...

16th Nov. The sunspot groups AR 3140 and 3141 are just about to disappear off the NW limb of the sun. By tomorrow I suspect they will be gone so this is probably the last image I'll have of them. Compare to yesterdays image (15th Nov). It has been nice to follow these groups.
Single exposure with Canon 550d camera, herschel wedge, at 540 nm.
Thanks for viewing.

Thanks for sharing this John. Another disappointing day for us in Melbourne. We won't get to see these regions again unfortunately, so appreciate your image.
