M42 Re Process in Startools

Here’s a re process in Startools of my M42 as you always find ways to extract or expose a little more detail from the original

Stretched in AutoDev with larger ROI ( increased ignore fine detail )
No brightness HDR only Tame to dim and expose the core to show the Trap with more contrast
Slightly more Sharpening with brightness and shadows
Increased Iterations from 10x to 12x in Spatially Variant PSF Deconvolution with increased de ringing
Adjusted colour bias slightly
Used Superstructure to slightly enhance large scale structures
Bumped up Noise reduction from 4.5 to 6.0 pixels

I think some improvement overall ?

Any Comments always welcome
Thanks

Can't see the stars in the trapezium

Whatever you did erased them considering the core is not overblown they should be visible. Otherwise all the other details are excellent in all three

Thanks Nik

Still a bit faint but the 4 Trap stars are definitely there
See blown up photo attached
Layering is the only way to expose them properly ( Unfortunately I didn’t take any short subs )
So just relying on processing techniques in the modules

Cheers
Martin
