27th Oct Sunspots

27th Oct 5.40 UT.

With rain most of the day I had given up getting an image today of the sun.
But at late afternoon a small blue patch of sky appeared and I managed a single exposure of the sun. The sun's late afternoon position made it difficult to orientate the image so north was up. The most prominent active region was AR 3131 in the NE sector. Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

Wow, you've done well again John. It has just been awful here for the last couple of days.
