October 22nd Ha disk

Not the best of mornings...taken though thin cloud which built up as the day wore on.

Disk not showing a lot of activity. Some nice proms.

A great image Peter - I was trying to work out which way N, E, S and W was to compare with my Sunspot image - but yours might have a different orientation? Thanks, John W.

Ah...I suspect Autostakert is mirror reversing the .tif file.

I usually orient the camera so the x-y axis of the sensor is parallel to RA and Dec but with no regard to N or S...as it is easily fixed in photoshop if need be.

P.S. Image now flipped to match the Learmonth Solar Observatory h-alpha image format.
