Jupiter 16th Oct 2022 - Got lucky?

Hey All,

Going through my data for the last few nights and stumbled onto this 4min break around 10:40-10-:44pm. All other times and planets were not good and data were binned.

This would have to be my best image to date and has given me confidence that my gear is setup right.

90sec videos captured in FireCapture, stacked in AutoStakkert, wavelets in RegiStax, WinJUPOS & wavelets in RegiStax.

An avg of 15% of 3 video capture was used

Celestron C8" (fl 4100mm, f/20)
ASI462MC
ZWO UV/IR Cut filter
ZWO ADC
ES 2x focal extender
BinTel SCT crayford focuser
Sky-Watcher NEQ6 Pro

That is a really nice shot Wayne and well processed to compliment your image capture. Rotate it 180° and it will even be better!

Thank you all for the feedback. Even the wife was impressed with the image - This is good coz it now justifies buying more Astro Gear
