Good luck with that!

"as part of the IAU’s response to the problems posed by spacecraft."

At the risk of violating the current forum rules regarding politics, the fact of the matter is that American industry defines and guides all aspects of governmental and environmental decisions by the US. The lobbyists and political donations employed by these companies - (it will all be "for the greater good"), are far more likely to have success than the IAU's response.

And don't bother to contact them directly - a not so recent email by myself directly addressed to the CEO of the main perpetrator's of these debacles resulted in Microsoft suspending my account for 2 months. (And it was a very politely worded complaint - nothing more)

My only suggestion is to plan your AP accordingly to avoid the junk.

Another reason to take up the time honoured profession of "observing".

I hope all these come crashing back to earth. It seems man is intent on polluting and ruining everything that he touches.
