Given that these are the select members that guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery .. I would say that there is not a hint of dirt on that Rifle.

That's quite impressive, thanks for that.


I thought I'd add one to the drill / rifle theme. This is taken from the 1985 Edinburgh Military Tattoo (there's a short intro for the tattoo at the start) and features the Rutgers University Queens Guard drilling with rifles. The part at the end is particularly impressive, I think.

The video was impressive but ........ he didn't check the barrel for residue - which is the most important thing one would check with regards to the cleanliness of a centre-fire rifle (it doesn't matter that much in a rimfire rifle).
