C/2017 Panstarrs K2

Interesting to see how much this comet has moved in 24 hrs, following on from Bob's shot of this comet on the 20th. This was a quick grab and go using an iOptron SkyTracker and a 500mm Tamron Mirror lens with a Canon 550d. 14 x 30 seconds @ 1600iso from a Bortle 6 suburban Melbourne location. I wasn't sure that 500mm was going to be enough to show much but it did reveal the comet, even a hint of a tail. In my rush to take advantage of the unexpected clear sky, my polar alignment was not as good as it should have been - hence the eggy stars.
