M17

Tried to get M17 and helix in one night. M17 turned out ok but helix was terrible. Almost like the flats were horendous but I used the same flats for both. Anyway, here is M17. Will keep working on Helix and see what went wrong.

Stay warm,

Dilshan

Will try to get some more time on it to bring more detail out.

Cheers,

Hi Dilshan,

a bold choice of colours, really stands out. What software are you using?

Hey Chris,

Using pixinisght. Half and half hubble and Foraxx for the colour. Used ezy decon and noise reduction and HDRmultitransform +local histogram equalisation to bring out core detail.
Didn't realise one side would come out blue and the other orange. Think the core is oxygen rich.

Glad you liked it!

Cheers,

Dilshan
