Celestron schmidt camera

Hi,

An unlikely item to be sold, but there may be somebody interested in this for nostalgia. This is a Celestron 5.5-inch f/1.65 Schmidt camera. It takes film. If you don't know what film is, then it's probably not for you. It has 3 film holders. The image (scan of a print) show Halley's Comet in 1986, one of a daily sequence that this camera took showing the changes in the tail. So it once worked - and worked very well. It's probably been close to 30 years since this camera was last used.

If there's anybody interested, send me a PM.

Yes, 35mm film. Individual frames. Awkward, but worth it.

Not sure if the last note got through. I offered $400. I have absolutely no idea of the current value.
