10th July The Sun

10th July. A better day today mostly blue sky although a bit rough in the atmosphere. Two pictures today - one at 540 nm the other at 656 nm (Ha).

Active regions 3053 and 3055 have increased in size and complexity. Some flaring, filaments and small prominences also visible in Ha.

Single exposures with a Canon 550d. Thanks for viewing.

Agreed John, the sun was out but the seeing was average to say the least. Very high jet stream. At least it was a bit warmer and the sun was impressive to view. Nice images
