Sun images from Melbourne 4/6/2022

Its definitely getting more difficult as the weather is deteriorating. Mind you the forecast was for even worse so beggars can't be choosers. It was windy from the north with clouds rolling through. These were taken in the gaps. Definitely below average seeing and quality. The named active regions are just about on their way out. It might be the quietest sun for some time unless there are new incoming regions on the way. At least there were some good looking proms today

Good set of images considering the conditions - cloud and rain most of the day where I live. Cheers John W.

Thanks John. Trying conditions. In a fit of craziness we tried again today. We got just one image before the weather completely deteriorated to very strong wind and rain.
