Talking Who am I kidding

I must be desperate. The withdrawals must be getting the better of me.

I've set up the scope etc for another early morning rise, despite the less-than-ideal jetstream conditions currently prevailing.

The Metcheck astronomy forecast for Canberra is saying things should be clear from a transparency point of view after midnight.

So....here I go

Is there a doctor in the house?

It was clear again, but I didn't bother. Maybe tonight.

Got up. Plugged the ToUcam in. Pointed the scope at Jupiter. Could hardly make out any detail on the laptop screen.

Back to bed I went

if my scope went out, it would rust even more...............bloody global warming.............too much rain

i specifically asked it to rain during the day to clean the atmosphere and then still and perfect nights............is that too much to ask for????

The really sad part is that I can read maps and am quite good (these days) at predicting when conditions should be favourable.

I've ignored all that the last 2 mornings in my desperation to get back to imaging

Sure is, Ving.

Hasn't been much chop for a few weeks here. Although I can't complain. Had a pretty nice run from late Feb/early March through to mid April.

The weather down here is pretty ordinary too, although the much needed is welcome, not that we have much of that either.
