Thank you to all those that have served and continue to serve. I am indebted to you for the freedoms I enjoy today.

I grieve for those that have fallen and wish it were otherwise. Thank you to all the families and loved ones that also serve in their own way, they will not be forgotten.

We remembered them and all who served and still serve, yesterday but I thought it might be of interest to some, to read about the terrible details of the causality costs of just WWI. It is certainly interesting to read about the less thought about contributions to the casualty count and the many effects that endured long after the war ended too but overwhelmingly it is shocking to understand so clearly the terrible cost of this war on so many of those who participated:
