My 1000th posting

Just wanted to let you all know that this is my 1,000th posting, and that I am averaging better than 10 posts per day. Yes I realise I have a lot of ground to make up on some of you people who obviously don't have lives either

Now I am looking towards 2,000

Well done Ron.
I expect that some posts probably take a while to write so it has been hard won.
Its wonderful to read your posts and your interesting observations on various matters.
And you have started some interesting threads.

You have a happy manner and a good mind just the sort of person the world needs in their day .

Thanks Alex, Ric, Roger & jjjnettie, this forum is the best astronomy destination on the planet for mine, I just can't wait to wake up every morning to read the posts. There is no doubting it is a marvellous classroom and that you can and do learn so much from the combined experience of all the members.

Well I would say it is the end, but the next item will arrive from overseas in August and it has the special number "16" synonymous with it

Congrats from me too, Ron!
You had quite safe 2000 posts already,
if the “word association thread” would not deleted as a spam
