13% waxing crescent moon 4/2/2022

While setting up the scope the other night we took this image of the moon still in twilight, just before it disappeared behind the roof of the house. 72ED and ASI178MC.

Lovely image Averton.

The 178mc gives nice detail.

I managed to just see the moon tonight
as it struggled through the cloud, just before
it rained.
......again.

Paul.

Thanks Paul. We've been very lucky with the weather in Melbourne this summer, unlike many other parts of the country.
