Moon from the 24th Apr

This is the first picture taken with the ED80 scope and the Canon 400D camera.
Moon, first quarter (7.44 days old).

Location: Port Macquarie, Australia
Camera: Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
Telescope: Skywatcher Pro ED80 mounted on Meade 8" LX-90 with Equatorial Wedge
Shooting Date/Time (First image): 24/04/2007 6:04:09 PM
Shooting Date/Time (Last image): 24/04/2007 6:09:44 PM
Distance to target: 385700Km
Exposure: 50 x 1/200 second
Dark Frames: In camera auto darks (only because I forgot it was on)
ISO: 400
AV: --
Aligned and stacked in Registax 4 (3 alignment points)

Focusing seems to be a bit of a problem, there is not enough outward travel on the focuser to achieve focus (with camera and adapter fully inserted). Focus can only achieved by moving the camera back about 10mm....

Other than that I am happy with the results as the conditions were very poor, a lot of clouds and high winds, the LX-90 does not like wind when mounted on the wedge with the dew shield attached.
