Jupiter April 18 in RGB, UV, near IR and methane

Here are some closely matched images in RGB, UV, near-IR and strong methane absorption bands from April 19 AEST. In particular, they show the p. end of the NTB white spot outbreak near the f. limb. The p. end of the outbreak contains a spot which is bright in all these wavelengths and is the brightest feature on the planet. The South Equatorial Disturbance is at the CM. This feature is complex in the methane band image. Coming into view, on the f. limb, is the GRS.

Stunning work Zac - it's great to see that you have been able to find some opportunities for high resolution planetary imaging from Brisbane, during what has been a relatively dismal season compared to last year.

Cheers

Beautiful image Zac, probably one of your best for the season so far. Much smoother and nicely detailed.
