I also have a 2" Orion diagonal for SCTs. It is in excellent condition and is like new in box. It comes with a 2" to 1.25" converter. REDUCED to $45 plus postage. (PENDING)
A 2" diagonal for an SCT has a thread that mates it directly to the rear cell (Visual Back) of an SCT and cannot be be used on any other scope unless it has an SCT thread.
So to answer your question, freespace, it cannot be used on a refractor unless it has an SCT thread which would be unlikely I would think.
