Hi Dave,

I am interested. Is it a prism type or mirror type?

Can such diagonals be used with a refractor? Why exactly is it a SCT diagonal?

A 2" diagonal for an SCT has a thread that mates it directly to the rear cell (Visual Back) of an SCT and cannot be be used on any other scope unless it has an SCT thread.

So to answer your question, freespace, it cannot be used on a refractor unless it has an SCT thread which would be unlikely I would think.
