Name the bird

I found this bird in my dam, unable to fly. I think it is a little eagle, but I'm not certain. Any ideas

I dont think it is a little eagle as the two versions (pale) and (dark) have feathered legs down to the claws.
Could you also give a written discription (size overall colour ect), as the colours are almost covered in shadow.
It looks like a Goshawk, but hard to tell.

I'd guess a Collared Sparrowhawk, but I'm only going from the light coloured cere and the bare legs. It's pretty hard to tell from the dark colouring in the 'photo, iceworks. If it is, and it's an adult, it should be around 300 to 400 mm in length. The Goshawks are usually a little longer. Of course if it's a juvenile it makes identification a little more difficult.

As Ron requested, more information would help.
