There is an link for this company on the right hand side of the page along with Sidereal Trading, Bintel and AEC. Not sure if everyone that tunes into IIS see 'Advertisement' on the right hand side.

It's one of the links down the right hand side of IIS. They have some very nice stuff that I can't afford!

I ordered a variable polarising filter from them yesterday on account of nearly blinding myself looking at the moon the other night. I'll let you know how I go.

I think I need one of those ... did the same thing... but the view was worth the temporary ocular degradation.

I ordered a Primaluce Labs Esatto adapter for my FSQ85ED from Testar and made a mistake Adriano was a pleasure to deal with to handle a user error. I've also further made inquiries about mount tuning (Vixen AXD) with him and he gave very objective advice.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending Testar.

Hello,

The Dob kits are very nice...

The variable moon filter I purchased (not from Testar), tended to move after barrel insertion (YMMV). I found it easiest to use the variable moon filter by placing the 2discs on top of the ep.

+1 big fan of Testar and his service. I've purchased several things from his store.
Before lockdown, I'd go in whenever I could to get help and have a chat

He's a really nice guy and definitely looks after you. Just about to put an order in as well for more PrimaLuce stuff.

Adrianno is an outstanding young man. He has a great science & astronomy background, formal qualifications.
His workshop is a full blown optics lab. He isn't a retailer, though he retails, he's a optics specialist that happens to have amongst other things a retail outlet.
I'm NOT a citizen scientist, Adrianno fills the knowledge gap allowing me to get on with Astronomy without having to learn too many new tricks

An excellent business in my opinion. I’ve bought a couple of things from them. On one occasion I ordered 2 pairs of radius blocks. I received a call them the following day from them to confirm that I did want 2 pairs and not 2 in total. They were happy to refund half the money if I’d made a mistake. I confirmed that I did want 2 pairs and so within 2 days they were at my doorstep. Excellent customer service in my opinion.

I just received a couple of adapters from Testar and I would love to be on his Xmas Present List, as they were so beautifully wrapped.

Cheers

Dennis

Auspost? If so, that's a miracle.

I've had a few deliveries within the past week for various items (telescope stuff mainly but also some tech)... DHL, Toll and StarTrack* were quick to deliver to Sydney.

This includes a nice purchase of PrimaLuce rings and bars from Testar (DHL) which arrived this morning. I've ordered something else from Testar today as well and chose DHL again.

Everything else that's come via AusPost has been late. Every single item. Everything except one was Express Post as well.

I like that Testar give you the option to choose other shipping companies, because right now, Australia Post are not that great servicing Sydney.
(COVID not a great excuse when the others can deliver on time from Sydney, interstate, and one item from Turkey!)

*I'm aware that this company is an AusPost entity, but it's run separately.
