At work I have used FireFox 2 for a long time now and love it.
At home my laptop runs IE 6 and my obs computer runs IE 7. I don't know why I foolishly upgraded to IE 7 on the obs computer, ever since the whole PC has run slower and browsing is a killer.
Just bit the bullet and installed FF 2 on the obs computer (don't know why I hesitated really, I guess I couldn't believe IE 7 was that vastly slower...) and gez what a difference!
I can use tabbed browsing without it crumpling my 2.4gighz machine. Everything runs so much faster!
They both seem to use about the same memory, but there's a huge difference in performance on this machine.
Bye bye MS IE 7. ...
