The Hat. M104 Sombrero

Hi Guys,

Took this Tuesday night of M104 Sombrero. 16 x 3 mins at ISO 400 darks/flats subtracted. once again i use steve's colour balancing technique and the final result below

Those images are so crisp, the central section (is it called a dust lane?), looks so distinct. Great shot

Had a play with it Ezy, hope you dontr mind...would love to play with the biggies... I think that bought out some detail across the dustcloud disc...

Non adaptive Van Cittern Filter on a 3x3 pixel scale, 20 iterations, Gaussian piont spread...the a blur to flatten the Black, masked around the galaxy, then a histo shift in luminance to make the sky darker...Yeah Ezy I would love to play with a hugher resolution, If you want to just crop to 104 to keep the size down,,,

I think that's the aperture

Focal length would be like 1100mm?
