Surplus Shed Bargain

HANDHELD DIRECT VISION SPECTROSCOPE
A real beauty! Great for demonstrating spectra from any visible light source. Precision made heavy duty stainless steel construction with an Amici type 3-element prism assembly, variable optical slit and adjustable eyepiece. Easy to use: Optical slit adjusts by rotating the knurled end piece, and focus is slip type. Contrast and resolution of the spectrum is changed by adjusting the slit opening. Both emission and absorption spectra can be viewed. 4 inches long by 1 inch diameter on the slit end. New with wood case. Edmund has a similar spectroscope for $272.00. Our low price was only $49.00. On sale now for just $29.00 thru Saturday 4/14/07 while supplies last. This link will take you there: (

This is a great bargain, for $30 you can't go wrong.
If the link fails try www.surplusshed.com

Would it be possible to slip a 1.25" webcam adapter down into the $92 one do you think?

Don't think so; the exit beam is usually parallel so a lens is needed to get focus.
