We have it on an emulator on the computer. The kids enjoy it. Both versions and the pac-man games, defender and a couple of other classics.

Moon Patrol?!! I think.
moon buggy...bouncing across a bumpy landscape...moved from left to right...fired bullets from a gun at the back and straight up at stuff flying over.....argh. it's going to bother me for days now.

A mate of mine has got over 3000 emulator programes most of which I remember but there are lots that I don't. I was always partial to galaga or galaxian. Had top score at the army barracks when I was 19. Best score I have ever had on that game was over 1 Mill.
Where did my youth go to I wonder. Totally misspent.

Jeez, I remember playing 'Tennis' when it first came out. Remember that game. We were all amazed at how you could move the little line (the imaginary 'tennis racket') up and down the sides of the screen and the ball (square dot) would bounce slowly from one side to the other. Thrilling excitement back then.

It came out under a few names by different companies. Pong was one of them. Tennis and TV Tennis where some others. I can't remember exactly but I think it was called Challenge as well.

I just went to ( www.faststone.org) & found this 'facinating' game called "Pacman". Remember that? Another freebee from them.
Ahhhh, it takes you back! Wish I had a joystick again. L.

There's a freeware version of space invaders which replaces the spaceships with chickens. Good for a laugh at http://www.interactionstudios.com/games.php

Thanks, brought back a few memories. Just imagine the setup i'd have today if only I'd just kept all those twenty cent coins and had a good look at the real thing.

hahaha...nice one ving.....yes so many of the old games....yes moon patrol when you shot spaceships and jumped over craters in the ground.....fun game..
I liked this car game every time you got 2000 points you got a time extension.....used to cost 20cents...no landscape just had to dodge the cars coming down the screen.
This page has a few Ving..including your Moon Patrol.

Rumples Riot, I too was a Galaxian fan, but not as good as you by the sounds. My family used to go on hols to Port Macquarie every year, and inevitably my brothers and I would end up each afternoon (burnt to a crisp) at the Putt Putt Golf, where they had two Galaxian "tables". A great memory!
