LBN471 The Lion Nebula in HST

Imaged from Spain, The Lion Nebula taken with the William Optics FLT132 at f5.6 and the QSI-660WSG Imaged in the Hubble palette. 2.8hrs in Ha and OIII, 3.5hrs in SII, just over 9hrs total. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.

That's a beautiful and very interesting object. I like that big vertical band in Oiii. That's a very unusual feature.

Its visible in the O3 and Ha only nothing at all in the S2

Thank you Adam... I have a long list of objects Id love to shoot but there is no way from my location. I was just pleased to just e able to get Rho Ophiucus and that was low down...

Gorgeous image Peter! Haven't seen that one before. A smidge noisy at full res perhaps but that doesn't detract at all.
