Skywatcher Evostar 72ED

I bought this second-hand from this forum early 2019 as a potential collimator for a spectrograph. I ended up not using it - partly because this version didn't have a removable dew shield and short of an angle grinder I couldn't remove it. Consequently, it's had little use - although my initial tests did involve taking some astroimages to evaluate aberrations, one of which is shown (this was taken using a William Optics 0.8x reducer/flattener).

The telescope works well both visually and for imaging. 10:1 manual focuser. Shoe for finder. Short Vixen-style dovetail. Screw-on metal lens cap and plastic cap for 2-inch focuser. Hard carry case.

One blemish. I managed to rub my hand on the rear of the objective whilst trying to loosen the dew shield. It seems that SW use a relatively soft AR coating and my attempt at removing my palm print with isopropyl alcohol only made it worse. The photo makes it look worse than it is, but that's my brilliant picture taking skills making it stand out so that it's easily visible . It doesn't show up in use.

$375 + postage. PMs please.
