The Wife Wants tem Too

Hi All

My wife and myself each have a computer in the same room, we call it the playroom, she plays with her crafty stuff, and internet browsing, and yes, I'm always here.

Now she often looks across and sees me posting and tells me that she wants these little fellas on her machine as well, cus she reckons there cute

I tell her, well you cant have them, they belong to IIS, but if you insist i will ask the boss.

Is there a way of doing this or are they exclusive to IIS.

Cheers Leon

The smilies? How does she want to use them? In email or on other forums etc?

All they are are little gif files. If you want to save them just right click and "save picture as"

Mike, it is probably more of a joke really, she reckons they are cute, and says i get all the good stuff on my computer, why cant i have them too., i say join IIS, and you can, she says, but i just want them to use as add ons to some of her emails she dose.

It was probably more of a fun question really, but if they was a way to download a few for her she would be happy.

Cheers Leon

Just do as starkler suggested. Not sure how you'll integrate them into your email easily, though.

Leon

Have a look here - you'll have to practice your German - but you'll work it out. As before, right mouse click and save the .gif file.

Use Thunderbird for email, it comes with a collection of smilies. Get it from http://www.mozilla.com. It's free and better than Outlook Express

Hi John,
when you write an email in Thunderbird, notice that above the window including your text there is a bar showing things like "font, bold, etc" at the very right hand end of this bar is a smiley drop-down menu

cheers
frank
