Mastering Pixinsight

After several months wait I finally received my digital copy of RBA's new book Mastering Pixinsight. All up it is 670 pages long and as you would expect quite comprehensive. I've spent the past couple of days reading the main part of the book and referring to the reference guide along the way while re-processing my Astrofest M8 image.

I've learned quite a few new tricks so I'm quite happy with the investment.

Anyone else bought it?

I received my copy late last week as well but work got in the way so I haven’t had a close look yet. From a quick look it looks good. Now to get some data to practice on.

Thanks for the heads up Peter and for posting that gorgeous image of M8. Looks like I'll have to sign up for this as I mostly stumble around in the program and interpret its operations as best as I can.

Cheers

Dennis
