Do I need a VPN

Hi Guys, I just loaded some anti virus protection and it give me a VPN, is this a good thing or don't I need anything like that.

All depends what you are doing on the internet mate. I use one on and off. My Misses is Finnish so she uses one to get around the geoblock so that she can watch Finland shows.

If you are just an average internet user with nothing to hide then i wouldn't bother.

Which AV gave you a free VPN?
I'll bet it was/is AVAST.

(I'll bet it logs all your activity.)

As mentioned, If you don't "go anywhere weird or OS...BBC etc", then you don't need one.

A FWIW... The people at Firetrust.com have just released an extremely good & possibly the fastest & most secure VPN available.

I get free lifetime updates for my Mail Washer Pro program & this message was included for my perusal.

It ain't free but if you require a VPN, it's probably the best. ATM.

(NB: I have no affiliation or interest in/to either MWP or Firetrust. I just use their program.)

Actually RAJAH, it was Bitdefender, seems pretty well hidden and works in the background, it is only a few days old so i will see how it all goes.
