Reprocessed Liberty...

Well, we all lack some Liberty in our lives right....???

Reprocessed this to make it smoother and with reduced stars, using only the Ha as luminance. Tough to find something I liked with the SHO palette but settled on this. Comments, advice welcome as always.

Come up very nice Ben! It can at times be dangerous only using the Ha as luminance but it has come up great

Thanks Colin. Yeah, I was worried I’d lose something with just the Ha but rather I’ve gained a much less busy image (stars and noise) in what is aN awfully busy object.

Good choice of colours Ben. It looks much better than the usual green and yellow versions.

I got some interesting results with very rough starless versions, including the blue/green/pink combo. Didn't use starnet++ but various sized star masks and MMT in PixInsight. I didn't worry too much about the obvious imperfections as I was adding the stars back in anyway. These versions seemed to be terrible with stars however, although that could just be down to having better settings when adding the Luminance layer?

Fantastic. Love em Ben. Starless really adds drama to the scene and the starless is done well.

Greg.
