Reprocess of old M8 data

Looks like some imaging is on the cards soon with clear skies and potential “being at home an awful lot”... but until then I’m trying to improve on some previous images. This is an M8 from last year. Reprocessed only using PixInsight (usually I’m tempted to tweak outside the program but like the challenge of not doing that to learn more about PI). Astrobin link: https://www.astrobin.com/full/416777/BH/

Comments welcome. I’m mostly trying to improve on how I add RGB stars.

It looks good Ben. Reprocessing often gives a much better result than the first time around.

Cheers Geoff. The first versions (plus a crop and an LRGB version) are on my Astrobin page.

First version (stars barley show any colour and the colour scheme is pretty ‘rich’!) https://www.astrobin.com/full/416777/0/

Van Gough like crop: https://www.astrobin.com/full/417193/0/

Brief LRGB: https://www.astrobin.com/full/417468/0/

I sketched it too a while back so I tired to keep those bright observable bits bright.
