First light SkyWatcher 180mm Mak

Hi all,

Have just spent a good couple of nights with my new mak under some reasonable skies and can report that its a great scope. Views are full of contrast. I've always wanted to give a mak a go and my curiousity is now satisfied.

I've written a short review(with pics of the scope) on my web page if anyone is interested. Link is below,

Cheers.

Congratulations on first light and the nice 'scope. I enjoyed reading the review and looking at your photos - great job! Looks like you have a friend for life.

Cheers

Nice review there Mike, sounds like a good scope. I had considered this as the way to go sometime back. But it had very little reviews back then, though mostly positive. The CN threads on it indicate its better than the 150mm and the 200mm versions. Just right.

Regards
