My afocal pic of Saturn

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=24425&s tc=1&d=1173505058[/IMG]

This is my 1st afocal pic of Saturn using my 1.3 mega pixel digital camera on my new Celestron 8" CPC. I took it by holding the camera up to the eye piece.I know it's not very good compared to some of the other pics i've seen posted. Again it's my 1st and I'am trying to learn. I bought a Orion Steady Pix camera holder that clamps to the eye piece but I had alot of trouble lining it up to the eye piece to get a image on the LCD screen on the camera. It was easier to get the image by holding the camera by hand. The seeing was not very good here in Baltimore,Maryland on this cold winter nite but I tried. Actually it was pretty cool down loading my pics on the computer and finding my best shot, all though not very good I was still proud of my 1st try at afocal photography.
