Tycho and Moretus

Well as you can tell I went on a bit of an imaging spree this morning, it's so rare for Melbourne to have great seeing conditions but this morning it was excellent.

Tycho and Moretus images attached, approx. 400 frames processed in Registax (one alignment point), AstraImage and Photoshop.

Thanks for looking.

John.

Excellent John! Lots of detail and good image scale. Maybe Tycho is just bit over processed or it could be my new monitor??? Highlights seem a little burned out to me - I'd like to hear other opinions though in case it's something to do with my monitor.

man those image make you feel like you atre right there. Very nice... Tyco does look a little overprocessed on my monitor too, can't offer any suggestions on a fix though.

I like 'em just the way they are John... slightly over-processed or not

Really feel like you can just reach out and touch the surface of the moon.

Keep 'em coming.

Excellent again! Man you had a great morning. I'm sooo jealous! It was cold here and I got nada!

Tycho is a but clipped on the white end (not as controlled as Plato) but look at all the detail!

Both look fine on my monitor John.

Very fine example of Lunar imaging!!! Especially Moretus. Fantastic!
