Having upgraded to the SW880 10"/EQ6Pro V3
My home brew 8" dob is up for sale.
Specs
Tube. PVC storm drain piping (new!) 250mm with end caps, finished metallic blue hammer finish.
Mount. 5 ply exterior grade. with Teflon bearing pads Scope brake.
Mirrors Skywatcher 8" (200mm) primary and 57mm secondary 3 point primary base mount with spring loaded cap bolts for collimation.
Top grade 4 way secondary spider
SW 8x50mm finderscope
GSO 2" Crayford 2 speed w/- 10-1 reduction
2 - 1.25" EP adapter
25mm and 10mm SW Super plossls 1.25"
2X Barlow
Primary Mirror fitted with switched 12v fan/light socket. Requires small 12v SLA battery to run all night. ( Free battery supplied)
If required a camera adapter to suit most small digital cameras as a bonus see the Mk III on my webpage.
Scope has excess tube length in front of secondary to negate extraneous side light etc.
Tube also has alternative primary mirror mounting position to reduce focal length for prime focus photography using a DSLR camera.
