Closeup the Keyhole Nebula

Hi all,

Here's a close-up image of the Keyhole Nebula. While the image could be made to look much prettier these shade of colors seem to reveal the most detail.

There are some interesting objects to note in this image, including the pale greenish stingray shaped coloration just left of the bright star Eta Carina. Notice the bright red vein like tendrils of nebula that weave about the dark keyhole. At the lower left of the image a star appears to be diffused by a circular whitish disc shaped nebula. All kewl stuff eh?

There's a better resolution of the image here http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/ngc3372h.html

Image is 9 x 3 min exposures @ ISO200.

Telescope is a 12-inch f/5 Newtonian telescope on Losmandy Gemini G-11 equatorial mount. Camera Canon EOS 300D Digital (modified) focused with DSLR Focus. Autoguided with SBIG 402 CCD on 4.5-inch f/9 guidescope using CCDSoft. 2" Baader Multi-Purpose Coma Corrector (MPCC). 2" Baader UV/IR Rejection Filter. Image Processing Iris, Photoshop.

Very nice for sure. To think you didnt need to even be in the observatory while the photons were collected
And yes the guiding looks perfect.
