Smile Blown Away

Hi every 1, I have recently aquired a 10x50 pair of binoculars and was absolutley blown away by what I could see compared to my 60mm telescope eg. I was able to see both the LMC and SMC in the milky way something I have never seen before and the sight was amazing.
I love it.

Hello, Spaceman101 - the 101 bit worries me a bit.

Are you saying that from S.A. you have never seen the S & L MCs with your unassisted vision?

Adelaide and its environs must have changed since last I visited.

Regardless, welcome to the can of worms that is IceInSpace.

Welcome to IIS spaceman

Binocs are really the way to go till you get your first scope. Even then they are used a lot, especilally while waiting for the scope to cool.

Cheers
