NGC 2440, Eta Carina and M42
Hi
With the latest HST image being of NGC 2440, see
http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/arc...eases/2007/09/
, Star Atlas pro told me it was well placed for observing here.
Its a full res crop of a 2x15min ISO 400 masked with a 3x5min ISO200 shot. UHCS filter used.
Eta Carina is a 2x5min ISO 400 shot, without the UHCS filter this time.
M42 is 2x5min ISO 400 masked with 1x 20 sec ISO200.
Idas UV/IR filter and BaaderMPCC used on all images.

Absolutely great images Scott, the planetary is a sight I've never seen before. I certainly think you are one of Australia's best astrophotographers - well done.
