The real thing today became a buyer for real, got a cheap 70/300mm lens and remote for the mates d50 nikon, went all over Sydney no one had a remote but my mate Abbi at Paxtons located one at their Hornsby shop so I got it there, getting the 300 was not easy the first one I looked at nearly bought it and walked out but I asked to see it in action and it would not move past 70mm I would not have been happy going home with a dud and it would have been hard to get the cash outlay back from my mate for something that did not work. Found a brilliant art set up for my daughter she was not happy with Dads because it did not have legs like her aunt who she sees as a real artist because of same..kids can be like that so get them want they want not something nearly as good..if not dont bother its just wasted cash, its better to go without.
Got a web cam for the lap top and a recorder to experiment with from a guy in Hornsby doing law told him he was a fool and get into the real money.. Lots of toys but what the heck, stuff is so cheap these days really. Once stuff like this would have been many weeks pay for most but these days you can buy heaps outta one pay (even a little pay.) And did you know there is a $12,000 canon out there 16 meg mmm that would be nice with the $14,000 lens.Wish I could get them outta one pay check ..must look in the paper for a CEO position.
